Friday, October 21, 2 p.m. at Historic Jefferson College. Flag Disposal Ceremony. The Colonial Dames of the 17th Century will present a Flag Disposal Ceremony, the only official way to destroy worn-out or damaged United States Flags. The American Legion will assist in the ceremonial bonfire. If you have an old flag that is tattered or faded, please bring it to Historic Jefferson College for this moving ritual.
