Personal Treasures Going to Columbus

If you enjoy Antiques Roadshow on PBS, come by and check out Personal Treasures!

This popular program will be held at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library on Thursday, October 7 from noon-4 p.m. in conjunction with the quarterly Board of Trustees meeting. Categories are books and maps, paper items, and photographs. MDAH staff will help identify objects and provide expert advice on their care and conservation. The event is free and open to the public. Although monetary appraisals will not be given, a list of appraisers will be available. For more information, contact Trey Porter at 601-576-6809.

The Board of Trustees meeting will be held on Friday, October 8 at 9 a.m. at the Thad and Rose Cochran Hall at Mississippi University for Women. The meeting is open to the public.
